Welcome to Cumbernauld Model Flying Club   

Cumbernauld Model Flying Club is one of the largest model flying clubs in Scotland. We have a membership of around 100 members which consists of both junior and senior members. The club was the first model flying club in Scotland to purchase its own flying site. We cater for both fixed wing and helicopter flying. Come and pay us a visit and you will see it is one of the friendliest clubs with unrivalled facilities.

The field is available 7 days a week but the entrance gate should remain locked when no club members are present. No flying is permitted before 9am in recognition of our neighbours.

During the winter months (October - end of April), members of the club congregate in a hall in Cumbernauld Village on Thursday evenings between 7:30 and 9:30 pm. This gives everyone an opportunity to showcase their new models / acquisitions and no doubt raise debate over construction methods / best practice etc.

The club has an active committee who are listed within the "Forum" on this website.
